INCATech is in search of a Geodatabase Analyst. The individual performing this role will use their knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS) technology to implement workflows, create and provision data content, conduct analysis, create products, and test GIS databases in support of Esri customers within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.  This role will work under the direction of others within larger project teams to provide this support. The Geodatabase Analyst will provide services as follows:

• Provide high-quality technical support and customer service to Esri end users through effective communication (via phone, e-mail, and chat) and efficient troubleshooting
• Resolve technical issues related to enterprise geodatabase using Esri tools and other related technologies
• Build databases or data stores from imagery and cartographic/digital sources; support the development of GIS database designs
• Review, interpret, and utilize established production processes
• Perform map and webmap production tasks
• Work well in a high energy, fast paced, enthusiastic, positive, and collaborative culture
• Identify issues and log defects for software improvements
• Maintain comprehensive case documentation in customer relationship management (CRM) system
• As a subject matter expert, author and tech edit knowledge articles available to internal and external users


• Ability to provide excellent customer service including strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with the Esri product line, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and related desktop extensions
• Demonstrated experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) including Oracle, SQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL
• Ability to learn new concepts quickly, retain large amounts of information, and adapt to a changing work environment
• Proficient written and verbal communication abilities with a strong grasp of the English language including grammar, punctuation, and consistency
• Strong prioritization skills including managing time and work load efficiently
• Bachelor’s in GIS, geography, environmental science, computer science, management information systems, or other relevant field, depending on position level (master’s preferred)
• US citizenship


Recommended Qualifications


• Background in software support or technical customer service with direct end user contact
• Experience with data conversion/migration
• Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems; Python scripting; SQL
• Top Secret security clearance
